Alterations Coordinator
To provide optimal customer service to the customers, central alteration employees and the store personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive gondolas and verify the contents against enclosed inbound manifest, resolve any discrepancy immediately.
• Breakdown and file garments by promise date also provide 20% of the total received garments to the Auditor.
• Retrieve garments from tailor/seamstress for inspection, forward to pressers.
• Retrieve garments from press station, 20% to Auditor and the rest to the bagging station. Audit overall appearance, tissue, bag, and check out garments.
• Run promise date report to verify all merchandise is complete for the due date.
• Outbound merchandise. Manifest by store/destination, load and seal gondola.
• Run detail workload report for the following workday.
• Operate and maintain all equipment.
• File all appropriate paperwork.
• Complete in a time efficient manner based on promise date for customer.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Basic computer, organizational, and communication skills. 1 to 2 years experience with sewing and or alterations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
