Director, Strategic Sourcing
As a Director of Strategic Sourcing, you will lead a team focused on adding value to three major categories, including IT, Marketing, and Professional Services in collaboration with business stakeholders. You will lead a team of four direct reports, develop relationships, and partner across the organization to set goals related to savings and value creation. You will use your strategic sourcing expertise to support your team to build category strategies; complete complex sourcing events and negotiations; manage the performance of important suppliers; and introduce proactive sourcing strategies into the business. You will communicate across all levels of the organization and elevate the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement function by exceeding stakeholder expectations.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement leadership to establish goals (near-term and long-term), strategies and objectives for functions, including IT (software, SaaS, Hardware, etc.), Marketing (including digital marketing), and Professional Services
- Actively implement continuous improvement for strategic sourcing and procurement holistically
- Maintain relationships with NMG leadership and strategic suppliers
- Provide guidance and expertise to the Category Managers to support the development of advanced category strategies, complex sourcing and negotiation strategies, and managing “critical” and/or “preferred” supplier relationships
- Support Strategic Sourcing Leads and Analysts with sourcing events and negotiations
- Promote Strategic Sourcing & Procurement’s continuous improvement across procedures, processes, and systems
- Communicate strategies, priorities, goals, challenges, and results to stakeholders
- Support the process of hiring, retaining, and developing talent to build a best-in-class Strategic Sourcing & Procurement organization
- Elevate Strategic Sourcing & Procurement’s status with NMG executives and key business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to add value and improve the supply base
What You Bring
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Consulting
- Experience within IT, Marketing & Professional Services categories Demonstrated expertise across the entire source-to-contract lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
- Experience supporting a procurement transformation and/or change management
