Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Alter constructed garments to meet the standard of quality set by Neiman Marcus equal or better than original construction. Alter garment to include the following:
**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with-Men's Clothing (Jackets & Trousers)**
-Alter seams vented or unvented, take in shoulder blades, reduce chest, narrow shoulders.
-Rotate sleeves shorten sleeves as needed
-Shorten back, shorten collar, and square shoulders as needed or requested
-Shorten coat, re-line coat, and or remake inside or outside pockets
-Operate and maintain all sewing equipment
- Routinely self-inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete alterations assigned tasks in an efficient manner, as assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, or Lead
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Vocational training in tailoring is preferred; experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment, which offered exposure to a variety of garment styles and types of fabrics is ideal.
- Ability to read English and understand instruction by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

- May require some pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, or kneeling and lifting up to 50lbs with or without accommodation
