The primary function of the Assistant Store Merchandising Manager is to build sales volume by leading the store team to provide selling and service that exceeds our customers' expectations.  This manager strives to achieve the goals of the store as well as the Last Call Division.  This role will assist the General Manager in driving sales and positive plan results through superior customer service, events, promotions, and motivation of the staff.  This manager will also contribute to the maintenance of the store through daily recovery.

·        Identify, recognize, and grow top sales producers

·        Implement and communicate sales promotional calendar to associates to achieve sales and margin goals

·        Ensure that merchandise consistently displayed within NMLC visual standards

·        Coordinate timely floor set up.  Ensure accurate and timely signage of promotional events

·        Identify current trends.  Communicate with store manager and merchants regarding merchandise needs and issues

·        Strive to drive sales at a planned or above plan level

·        Motivate and coach staff

·        Able to effectively communicate product knowledge, new store promotions, and all company expectations

·        Identify and implement long term merchandising plans and see them through their succession

·        Establishing and maintaining customer relationships leveraging in store tools of clientele and Sales Associate Email

Managers must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High School Diploma

Bachelor’s degree in business or fashion preferred

2 years of Retail Management experience preferred

1 year of Visual Merchandising experience

5 years of retail experience preferred

Basic Computer skills
