Job Summary
A Cashier is responsible for daily deposits, which include cash and checks from the previous day's receipts.
Job Duties
Required to count cash and checks from each register
Required to balance the vault and replenish each drawer used by the customer representatives before the deposit leaves the store
Cashier is required to manually transfer all information from the day's receipts to an accounting ledger and mail
Assists at the service desk
Processes sales, returns, and exchanges
Process new account applications and payments
Performs additional tasks as required
