Lead Development and Launch efforts of Last Call online
Analyze Sales Data, top vendors, items, events, etc. through the use of Business Objects and give the DMMs and Buyers monthly recaps of the online business trends
Based on results, need to partner with MAPP to review site traffic, conversion, templates and average selling price. Adjust marketing, navigation and site traffic drivers as needed thru Omniture.
P & L accountability; execute sales and margin plans
Take calculated risks
Develop mid and long term objectives and plans in partnership with Senior Management.
Attend key markets with the buyers to help ensure best assortment for the online customer and to assist the DMM in covering all categories.
Provide guidance and recommendations for off-site merchandising assets to drive traffic to the sites.
Work with the marketing and creative groups to maximize business opportunities. i.e. Online Events such as Trunk Shows, Beauty Event, Seasonal Launches, etc.
Build, coach and develop a world class team
Requirements
5+ years in an eCommerce or related field.
Experience in working with online Marketing team. Merchant background and experience partnering with Operations, Call Centers, Information Technology and Systems knowledge preferred.
Have strong analytical skills
Have excellent communication skills
Have experience working within buying or store organizations and with multiple cross-functional groups
Have the ability to think globally and be a strategic thinker
Ability to meet deadlines, think strategically and work independently.
Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred. Must have multi division experience in retail, strong leadership skills, analytical skills and must have strong communication skills. History of successful growth of business is essential.
