We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Digital Media for Neiman Marcus Group. In this critical role, the Assistant Manager will help to ensure that we are flawlessly executing campaigns and delivering the highest return on our media investments. An analytic mindset, quest for constant optimization, high attention to detail & and an appetite for innovation are critical skills for success in this role. This role will support various forms of digital media, ranging from retargeting, programmatic display, search and CSEs. This position will report to a Digital Media Manager.
Position Responsibilities
Campaign Management: Manage media campaigns from briefing stage through execution. Own the day-to-day processes and execution of digital ad placements. Troubleshoot issues with ad delivery and performance. Establish best practices and quality assurance processes to minimize delivery errors. Identify workflow improvement opportunities to reduce touch points and inefficiencies.
Agency & Internal Relationships: Work with creative, account management, and analytics teams to ensure all advertising programs are properly planned, tagged, trafficked and optimized. Build strong working relationships with internal teams, such as marketing, as well as external agencies.
Analytics & Reporting: Analyze data trends of media performance and constantly optimize and improve. Analyze campaign results by platform, third party research, and digital metrics to assess performance and recommend future improvements. Support media team in preparing and delivering reporting and analysis to key internal teams and NMG executives. Partner closely with Analytics team on test/control set-up, partner with IT on feature prioritization and track progress through implementation.
Budget Management: Efficiently manage budgets across all media channels. Maintain media budgets and media spend summaries
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred.
1-3+ years’ industry experience
Managing product feeds for Search/CSE/PLAs
Experience with retargeting partners & DMPs
Basic knowledge of Paid search, Programmatic and Natural search marketing highly preferred
Adept at Double Click Campaign Manager or similar media manager tool
Adept at Omniture or other web site analytics tool
Experience with a tag management solution such as Tealium
Experience with Attribution tools and media mix modeling
Advertising agency experience preferred.
Must have great attention to detail
Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Effective communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage time effectively
