Data Scientist I
JOB DUTIES: Data Scientist 1 for Neiman Marcus Group LLC at its facilities located in Dallas, TX. The Data Scientist performs statistical and econometric analysis, AI/ML modeling, and numerical optimization. The Data Scientist solves use cases related to personalization, customer engagement, marketing promotions, merchandise planning, supply chain, pricing, and cost. This position will lead data science needs across all Neiman Marcus Group brands, divisions and selling channels. This position is open to remote work from approved locations in the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or other related field or foreign equivalent.
- Experience must include experience in two of the following:
- Graph/network theory,
- Recommendation engine,
- Statistical modeling and linear/non-linear optimization theory,
- Machine learning
- Graph/network theory,
Experience must include one (1) year post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
- Coding skills in Python and SQL
- Keras, Tensorflow, or scikit-learn
- Full lifecycle agile and experimental design methods.
