The Training and Quality Assurance Supervisor will oversee a team of Training Coordinators and QA Specialists at Neiman Marcus Direct, the company’s catalog and on-line division. This individual will be responsible for the fulfillment training program and ensuring accuracy/quality in the complete product life cycle from receiving to shipping.

 

Key Performance Elements:
  • Provide leadership and guidance while planning, directing, and supervising the work activities of the Training and Quality Assurance teams
  • Establish and drive tactical and strategic Training and QA plans and initiatives
  • Propose ideas to increase the efficiency of the Fulfillment processes along with reducing frequent errors or issues
  • Create and analyze Training and Quality reporting to support business needs/initiatives
  • Develop Training manuals, visual aids, and other Training materials for all Fulfillment processes in the Las Colinas and Pinnacle facilities
  • Execute engaging Training presentations at both the Las Colinas and Pinnacle facilities along with administering an effective Training program
  • Provide training and evaluation of department trainers to allow newly trained employees to be in a supportive, developmental work environment
  • Reduce errors to our customers by overseeing daily audits along with reporting errors/issues to appropriate Management members
  • Interaction with Merchants, Vendors, and Management to resolve merchandise issues relating to Product Copy/Image, Quality, and Packaging
  • Work with Customer Care on resolving customer inquiries or complaints on merchandise

 

Requirements - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • At least 2 years of Training Documentation/Presentation experience
  • At least 2 years of Quality Assurance or Auditing experience is preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive warehouse/distribution experience is preferred
  • Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to supervise teams and manage heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Proficient in MS Office
