Lead - Shipping Team
- Assist area management with the planning and coordinating of the day-to-day activities of departmental personnel to ensure both internal and external customers are satisfied.
- Work with management on safety program adherence, mentorship, training & development, etc.
- Monitor productivity and quality objectives of assigned personnel and work in conjunction with the LC operations management to help develop, implement and facilitate processes that focus on achieving measurable improvements to production efficiency, inventory management, quality, fulfillment accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Maintain supply inventory ensuring a complete stock of essential items (i.e. packing supplies) are available at all times preventing any interference with production schedules.
- Provide daily volume reports to third party shipping carriers. Advise management on any discrepancies or issues requiring escalation.
- Manage daily PBU (Processed But Unshipped) report providing a detailed summary on any unresolved orders or items requiring a resolution.
- Provide a weekly & EOM supply account analysis and reconciliation report. Ensure ledger information is accurate and any deviations & variances from the budget analysis are immediately reported.
- Maintain departmental timekeeping and non-payroll files as required.
- Supports other projects as required.
- Previous lead, supervisory or management experience and/or previous experience achieving results through others.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office (Excel, Word) and e-mail capability.
- Advanced, proactive problem-solving experience abilities.
- Superior timely and professional interpersonal communication skills.
