Supervisor - Packing & Shipping (Weekend Shift)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Taking ownership for achieving department goals; monitoring all daily reports.
- Ensuring that associate workload is managed appropriately.
- Ensuring team associates follow proper procedures, and that safety, productivity and quality goals are achieved.
- Managing employee relations issues, to include coaching, counseling and corrective action.
- Assisting in the training of new associates.
- Setting the tone in the department for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
- Maintaining timekeeping and payroll files.
- Other tasks as required to meet team goals.
- Remain professional, fair and consistent in interacting with the NMD team.
- Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
- Multitask and prioritize in order to manage a heavy workload.
- Maintain high level of safety awareness; provide safety feedback constructively.
- Accurately and constructively give and follow directions, both written and verbal.
- Timely understand and resolve problems.
- College degree is preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (Lead, Supervisor or Manager).
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Successful leadership track record of achieving results through others.

Continuous/frequent walking or standing for long periods of time.
